Welcome to NY Steam Clean. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and any communications including SMS messages from Handy Ari Inc. (doing business as NY Steam Clean).
By using our services or submitting your information via our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Offered
NY Steam Clean provides professional cleaning services including carpet, rug, upholstery, mattress, and water damage restoration. Services are available by appointment only.
2. User Information & Privacy
We collect personal information such as your name, email, phone number, and address when you request a quote, book a service, or sign up for updates. We also collect payment details to process transactions.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
Data is only used to fulfill services, send updates, or communicate with you.

3. Payments & Refunds
All payments are processed securely. Prices may vary based on service type and size.
We accept all major credit cards. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Refunds:
Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis if service is incomplete or unsatisfactory. Please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment.
Liability for Loss or Damage:
All rugs are cleaned at the customer’s risk. While we use professional methods and equipment, we are not responsible for normal cleaning risks, including but not limited to shrinkage, color fading, color bleeding, pile distortion, or deterioration of weak fibers.
In the event of loss or damage to a rug while in our possession, our liability is limited to the lesser of (a) the rug’s actual purchase price as evidenced by a valid receipt or professional appraisal, or (b) $200 per rug, unless a higher value has been declared in writing prior to pickup and any additional charges have been agreed to.
Declared Value Option
Customers who believe their rug has a value greater than $200 must declare that value in writing before we take possession of the rug. Additional charges may apply for declared values above $200. Rugs not declared in advance will automatically be subject to the $200 liability limit.
Proof of Value:
Any claim for reimbursement must be supported by a valid proof of purchase, appraisal, or comparable documentation. Rugs without proof of purchase will be valued at our discretion, subject to the $200 cap.
Exclusions:
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear, inherent weaknesses, or any conditions that may be revealed during cleaning. Items not picked up within 90 days of completion may be considered abandoned and handled at our discretion.

Pre-existing damage to items being cleaned
Delays due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, traffic)

We follow all CTIA, TCPA, and carrier regulations regarding SMS marketing and communication. We also comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws concerning consumer protection and data privacy.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NY Steam Clean is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our website or services.

These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
